John Campomizzi comes from a long line of established construction industry businessmen. As a result, he has acquired hands-on experience in all facets of the construction process from a very young age. John, the president of Empire Contractors, Inc., has over 33 years in the building industry and founded the business nearly 25 years ago.  John also owns and operates Imperial Electric, Inc., and has his NC Electrical Contractor’s License.  John has partnered with the Energy Star Program and is a hero registered contractor and provides a more efficient, comfortable, and healthier environment. John's hands-on work style and personal commitment to each project consistently results in happy clients and quality built homes.

James Bruce has over 40 years of experience in the building industry and is the Construction Project Manager (CPM) and Chief Estimator.  James holds both NC residential & commercial general contractor’s qualifications.  James' exceptional attention to detail and attentiveness to clients has made him an invaluable member of the team.

Empire Contractor’s long list of satisfied homeowners stems from the cumulative knowledge, honesty, and unparalleled customer service conveyed by the Empire team. John and James pride themselves in staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques in an ever changing home building industry.  Their main priorities are producing high quality homes and cultivating trusting relationships with homeowners.  John and James have over 300 homes built in the surrounding area; they have established a repertoire of lasting friendships. Empire provides their homeowners with the luxury of a single location (showroom) where they can select cabinets, hardware, counter tops, carpet, tile and many other items for their new homes.
